Writing a Cyberpunk world that no longer understands sexual decency. Tasteless, or interesting?

Post Body

Hello, I am considering writing a cyberpunk world. It's not all sex/pornographic, however it is essentially a core piller. It's not being used as "porn with a plot", it's more "porn is important to the plot" so to speak. I have always had an interest in adult subjects, but I don't want my writing to be... offensive in a way which intends to shock or harm. I want the sex to both be important to aesthetic, AND be something that impacts the story beyond a "sex scene". It's a society where many norms are worn away and forgotten, everything is hypersexualized, and there is often little concept of "decency". Lots of concepts of privacy don't exist anymore. Like if you saw sex on the sidewalk, there'd be little or no concept of "covering up" or "looking away".

So, your thoughts? Worth pursuing, or too likely to be percieved as tasteless and lacking respect and sensitivity?
