This is probably a really stupid question but it came to my head. Can I just...email a studio with my story and ask if they want to buy it?
Post Body
I wrote a novel a while back, spent a long time editing it. It's a near-future sports story about a physical combat tournament. I've spent a lot of time querying agents, re-reading it, fixing it, querying more, with no results.
It's come to my mind that my story might be better as a visual medium. Is there a way I can just...throw the manuscript at an animation studio, or something? And see if they'd want to buy it? I don't know if that's a crazy idea but it's what's in my head right now.
