Writing at a stretch v/s Writing at intervals

I'm currently working on a project where I'm writing daily. Today, I wrote continuously for a little over an hour and it felt a bit tiring. But, I'm afraid of taking breaks more frequently for the fear of a break in flow.
What is your habit? Do you prefer to write everything in one sitting or take your sweet time and feel more productive when there are quite a few hourly breaks?
