Music License for naming books / chapters after songs?
Post Body

So, alt rock / alt jazz is one of the souls of my book (which started out as a fanfiction but I’m highly considering rewriting to be my first original novel), and as a result, each chapter is named after a song relevant to the themes / mood.

Several songs are crucial to certain characters (an Exit Music tattoo, etc) and I’m not sure how I would be able to convey similar messages without their inclusion. However, I haven’t been able to find anything about copyright rules (specifically in the USA) regarding just using song titles in the text.

Does anyone where I can find that info, or does anyone happen to know?
