Post Body

I'm interested in knowing writers' personal experiences.

People say you need to have had your heart broken to write romances. That just maybe true.

Has anyone ever quit writing for a period, and came back to it after a few years to find you had a lot more to say?

I want discussions about whether you should continue writing honing your craft, or whether you should travel instead and live life.

Let's talk about whom the best authors are, and what they've lived through. George R. R. Martin lived through Hollywood. Tolkein survived through war. J. K Rowling emigrated to Portugal, came back to England divorced and poor, and lost her mother. These experiences shaped who the authors were.

What are your thoughts?
