How vague is too vague when it comes to magic?
Post Body

I’m working on a fantasy novel that does involve arcane powers and such where magic is mysterious and such even to those who can use it. The most powerful users admit that they barely know where these energies came from and that they have no idea who wrote these spellbooks or why they work. There’s theories of course and many groups brand certain types as witchcraft but the line between what’s natural and what’s magic is difficult to draw sometimes... it doesn’t help that magic is a fairly rare gift even to those who study it. Is this too vague and lazy seeming to you?
