Sharing an author name or pseudonym: Are there any steps to take?
Post Body

I wanted to get some other authors thoughts on this.

I recently discovered another author that has the same name, or possibly pseudonym, as myself.

I am a hybrid author (self-published and traditionally published) and I have built a small but dependable author platform. I'm also in a totally different genre. I am in literary/horror and this other person is either scifi-romance or possibly some kind of erotica? All I can find is a few books on Amazon from back in 2011 and 2012.

My question is, is this even anything to worry about? Or will the nature of the internet and claiming works on Amazon sort of put my name first through attrition if I keep writing and getting things published?

Is there anything else I should be doing?
