So I spoke with a colleague today who wanted me to interview someone for an article. I normally write and publish them via Examiner, but that company went belly-up.
So we talked about it, and what I need to do is figure out some websites that are similar to Examiner, where I can publish an article with this interview in it. I would prefer to steer away from sites that focus more on job pools and focus more on the writing and publishing side of things.
Here is what I have so far:
- Hulu - this used to be a publishing platform. Now it is a streaming service like Netflix.
- Associated Content - changed their name to Yahoo! Voices as a part of the Yahoo! Contributor Network, then went belly-up.
- Suite101 - went belly-up
- oDesk - changed their name to Upwork; my colleague would have to use this site to "hire" me, and I'm not sure how that works.
- Blogger - I guess this is one idea I could fall back on, but I'm not sure it would have the readership my colleague needs.
So do any of you have any ideas? More well-known sites would be better, of course.
Thanks!
