I've always enjoyed writing and telling stories, and I was always able to pull up a blank page and start writing one, even if it was garbage. It just flowed and I was enjoying myself every time. I even finished a novel before.
Now, though, I can hardly sit and pound out even a couple hundred words before I overheat, when I used to be able to churn out 2,000 word chapters without even thinking. I know those effortlessly written scenes were garbage, but the thing is, even everything now is garbage, and I can't even get to the editing stage anymore because I keep scrapping every story I get even 1/10ths of the way writing when I realize it'll never amount to anything.
If anyone's been stuck in this situation, I'd really like some help. It sucks.
