My mc doesn’t appear until close to the end of chapter 1, is that bad?
Post Body

Is this a bad idea? My first chapter starts with my two deuteragonists basically finding their way someplace they aren’t supposed to be, with my mc crashing in towards the end of the chapter snowballing to the series of events that begins my story. But is it considered a bad thing when your first chapter doesn’t immediately introduce the mc right off the bat?
