Responsibilities:

-Generate engaging 600-800 word scripts for episodes of our animal-themed Snapchat show, covering diverse topics such as animal news, historical insights, top 10 lists, and more.

-Craft snappy, condensed scripts designed for short, highly engaging videos that keep viewers hooked from start to finish.

-Employ creative storytelling techniques to foreshadow upcoming topics, write attention-grabbing hooks, and maintain a fast-paced narrative throughout.

Requirements:

-Experience in scriptwriting for short-form videos or similar digital media formats.

-A keen understanding of storytelling principles, including the ability to create captivating hooks and keep viewers engaged.

-Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

-Willingness to sign a contract granting ownership of scripts to the show, and commit to producing a set number of scripts each week.

The show's RPM is estimated at $16 generated every 1,000 views. What revenue is generated, Snapchat takes 70% of it. So there is a 30% pot. We would give 20% of that pot to a scriptwriter.

We have a team of editors who have produced videos that have collectively garnered millions of views. As a scriptwriter, your main focus is to create compelling content. Our editors will handle the visuals and ensure they are optimized to attract viewers, allowing you to concentrate on crafting a script that resonates with the audience. Your job is just to create the scripts that will be used as the voiceover in the videos. The editors know how to make the video get millions of views from the visuals part already. We just need script writers who know how to write engaging scripts that will serve as the other half of the video creation process.

We would be paying the scriptwriters 20% of the entire revenue generated from scripts that are used in episodes on the show.
