Hi I am writing an essay about these two works from a post colonial lens and wanted to know others opinions about them? I genuinely didn’t like the book, I thought it was extremely boring and I was lost at times. The movie is fine but I think now since I have to write about it I don’t really like it. Anyway in my essay I was planning on writing about the irony and the hypocrisy that occurs in both the book and in the movie. I was wondering if anyone has any notes or previous outline I can borrow because I don’t think I am on the right track. I can’t find any useful supporting evidence or create a good thesis so I am extremely struggling. My teacher seems like she is nice and willing to help but if I actually do she will just be condescending and mean and it will just be extremely unhelpful and just make me upset. So if anyone would like to help I would be extremely grateful!
