How do you become a subject matter consultant for fiction writers?
Post Body
I'm a subject matter expert who also has an interest in writing, but don't have the time to pursue that seriously right now. One thing I'm interested in trying is collaborating with established writers on my field.
So where do writers go, for example, to check their science fiction draft with a real engineer? Where do you find a lawyer who will review your courtroom scene? If there is a place for that, I'd like to look into getting involved.
