I used to be a creative writer and I'm thinking of writing a book. I need encouragement though. I got out of practice while growinr my family but now I'm I freelance musician and music theory researcher (with a communication degree lol). So, I'm going to probably take the plunge again.

Just needed to get that out.
Those who write novels, do you concentrate on a certain word count a day like Stephen King or just do it as it hits you? I read about 4000-6000 words a day.
Thanks everyone.
