Do you use a pen name and if so, why?

I’ve been considering using a pen name if I ever publish anything for several reasons, but I was wondering if any of you use one? If so, what made you decide that it was the best choice?

Yes. We wrote an erotic memoir, and there was no chance we could’ve sought publication if we used our real names. Once we no longer needed to worry about how our story would impact our relationships with our families, the words flowed freely.
