Hellooo. So, my current WIP features multiple main characters. The majority of the novel is written in 3rd person limited, as in, each chapter that centers around one MC will be limited to his/her POV. However, all of my MCs will eventually converge.
My question is: in scenes where they're all in the same room, is it cool to mind-hop and switch into 3rd-person omniscient? Or should I strictly stick to one POV per chapter?
I'm asking because I'm committed to give them all equal weight. Being confined to only one of their inner thoughts when they're all in the same scene, feels like having to choose a favorite child or something. 😢
Okay, maybe not as dramatic. But you catch my drift.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
