Like when you do double leg takedown or single leg takedown (knee pick, not ankle pick), your head can be at chest level (knees not touching the ground) so that you won't be sprawled on, right? What is the downside to doing this?
Also, what is the reason that low level attacks are worth it even though it risks the opponent sprawling on top of your body and pressing you down to an unfavorable posture? Is it the element of surprise and variety?
This wrestling gym I had in mind is not responding at all, so I am going to have to practice wrestling on my own with online videos. Which sucks cause you need sparring experiences to make the contents really your own contents. Forget sparrings. I want to try these wrestling moves on a live person. For now, I think I will go back to a boxing gym cause the only wrestling gym available near my new apartment is not responding at all. Kinda sucks cause I think I am done with boxing for now and was really hoping to get into wrestling.
