What are the various styles of the best wrestling countries?
Post Body

This is just my opinion and what I have observed. For the big 3 ( Iran, USA, and Russia) they all seem to be equally physical with the USA maybe having an edge. In conditioning it seems to be USA, Iran, and Russia in that order. This conditioning aspect really ties into their respective philosophies and styles. The USA is physical and very explosive while giving up a little bit of technique. They have a very grind heavy mentality although that has been a changing through the years. Iran also has pretty good conditioning although they are very linear. They usually are masters at one positition usually based off the underhook. Examples of this are yazdani, zare, and amouzad. Russia usually has the best wrestlers in terms of technique. The Russians are good in virtually every position and the best technicians are from Russia. They also seem to rely on use of their hips very much for defense and throws. However they incorporate a lot more play wrestling in practice and wrestle light then explode for points. This makes them prone to gas out wrestling a six minute dynamic match. What other countries do you see have a specific or unique style? I havenโ€™t watched very much film on individuals of other countries to comment on their style.
