So I played OG WOW for many years from like 2004 to 2012. I'm thinking about getting back into the game maybe playing WOW classic but I honestly have not kept up with how the game has changed over the years so I have a few questions and any answers would be greatly appreciated.

If I were to go play WOW classic would I be able to take that character into the newest expansion?

How has the core gameplay changed since Wrath of Lich King?

How easy/difficult is it to find good guilds to raid or get groups for instances?

How is the community nowadays? I remember a lot of toxicity back in the day with some guilds and I'm wondering if things have mellowed since.

Would you recommend playing WOW as it currently stands to someone who played it essentially at launch but hasn't played in 10 years lol?
