Which melee class is easier and more fun for a newbie?

I was trying to decide between Fury Warrior or Retribution Paladin. Which one has more fun utility and DPS? I’m usually into DPS classes when playing and I didn’t want to always play ranged type of roles in every MMO I came across so I figured trying melee roles would be interesting this time.
Any help would be appreciated!
