Blade's Edge Server Error

I get on and everywhere I go it's empty sometimes even the standard characters don't even load in. Orgrimmar is a ghost town and none of the lifts, zeppelins, portals or gryphons aren't showing up. My friend gets on and seems to be loading in just fine. I don't want to realm transfer but will if I honestly have to. What could be going on though? Thanks All !
