So I really havn't done much of the end-game of BFA and recently found a really nice raiding guild that been helping me get geared carrying me through content and teaching me the fights. More than I could ever ask for. However I kind of get a little lost when it comes to certain content, that I skipped or really didn't touch. One of those things being most of 8.3, after Nazjatar I kind of took a back seat and started leveling alts. I know Shadowlands is atleast a month away and thought it would be time to work on some end-game that I just didn't do. So if you don't mind helping me a couple of questions or confirming things for me.

Horrific Visions is the main source of upgraded gear (I believe 85-ish ilvl), which isn't the important part but you can upgrade your cloak which is needed/beneficial. To upgrade cloak you need to get book pages from the visions so many times, as well as a way to get more essences from MOTHER?

In order to do a vision you need 10,000 of Coalescing Visions that you get from doing Uldum and Vale daily quests.

However I did the one vision, and it gave me a task to kill Alleria in Stormwind and pretty much spawned me on top of her, am I missing something with this?

Is there a system in place to live/last longer in visions?

Is there a guide or a nice place to watch guides on visions that could be beneficial to me?
