I was just curious about this. In the past year or so, I've been posting a lot in trade chat on my bank alt. I've made a lot of trade partners this way and now people will PM me randomly with items they want to clear out because they're not patient enough to sell them. Occasionally I also get PM'd to buy out entire guild banks. It has worked a lot in my favour.

What I'm mostly saying is that my bank now has a reputation on my server. People know him by name and my guild mates have noticed people mentioning my bank alt in trade even when I'm not online.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has it helped or hindered your success as a goblin? I've seen it be positive and negative.
