Who really buys unobtainable stuff?

I got Ruby Shades for 5k, listed it for ~75k for two months now, but obviously nobody bought it, which makes me wonder: who actually buys this stuff? It doesn't count for any achievement, it takes up a bag slot, you can't transmog it... At least the Thug Shirt can go in the appearance slot. But Ruby Shades isn't even soulbound so you can't put it in Void Storage! Are there any people who wants to buy that stuff anyway?
