I never played wow before i always wanted to try it out but kept hearing bad things about it but recently with the dragonflight release i heard that the game got better so i finally decided to give it a try but i need help to decide what class i want to play as because i dont want to waste my sub time on testing out each class and getting to lvl 20 in the free trial is not good enough to showcase the true power of a class because a lot of classes unlock the power stuff in the late game so i need your guys help to decide.

I played ffxiv before and i mained red mage , my favorite things about red mage are:
1-fast pace magic casting , its not like a standing target that has to wait for spells to finish (at least the casting is super fast and dualcast is super fun)
2-i really enjoyed being able to rez people infinitely mid fight
3-the fact that its a hybrid between mage and melee class is super fun for me

I want to main DPS in wow at least for now but i dont know if there is a class that is similar to red mage in terms of fast pace action that is super fun to play , i want a dps class that i can enjoy dont care if its meta or not i want something fast paced to have fun beating shit up
i would say my preference is magic>ranged>melee as long as the magic class is not a stationary turret (i usually dislike melee because of positionals in ffxiv idk if its a thing in wow but if its not then melee and ranged are equal for me)

if you guys can link videos that shows the class you mention in action that would be much appreciated.
