So I transferred to Horde at the start of BFA because all my buds moved to horde, so I sorta had to.
I did everything I could on horde side before taking a hiatus for five months. I finished all the available questlines, but never hit exalted with any BFA rep.
Hiatus.
I come back and without any research, I faction change to alliance because I wanted to experience the story. So I finished everything on the alliance side now as well.
When I faction changed, I lost all quest progress due to alliance and horde quests being very different. I lost all my outposts as well.
I got both BFA alliance allied races and wanted to go back to horde to make the grind much easier. I was worried I was going to have to do all the horde quests again, as thats what the wow website basically states.
This was not the case.
My previously horde character that 100% all questlines on horde, went alliance, and came back to horde officially has ALL quests STILL complete on horde.
Therefore, you can only complete both factions questlines once per character.
And yes, I know the cost of this but I didnt care.
