A guildie of mine acquired a 2 Mythic Keystone for The Arcway. The guildie, my spouse, and I jumped into a group which made 3 dps with all of us being 1 or 2 ilvl above or below 850. We figured that would be an okay range for 2 Mythics. My spouse was a havoc DH and the guildie was a WW Monk who managed to do the most damage (this is important later). We PUG in a healer and the tank. The healer is also within our level range as well and a demon hunter tank is around an ilvl 860.
The guildie placed his keystone and we had 45 mins to finish the dungeon. "That's plenty of time." The guildie said, and I agreed. The tank takes care of the trash and dies when he jumps off the first stairs because he didn't wait for the healer (who I believe was a shaman). He yells at the healer of course. Those who tried keeping up with him also got killed. "No big deal," I told myself. It was literally a 15 second walk back. After everyone managed to keep up with the tank, everything went fine. The tank imprisoned some of the trash in order to speed things along as well, which is something we did in normal mythics too.
We kill the first boss with ease (except for my dumbass stepping in the fire, but I got resurrected.) And then we get to Nal'tira. The tank jumps in and aggros all of the Enchanted Broodling spiders and attempts to AoE them all to death. The spiders blow up, and he immediately demands a BRez, even after we all wipe. I play a Feral Druid, and I was the only one in a group who can BRez.
I stated that I was not going to BRez him on trash, especially when we were inches away from the second boss. He starts talking trash about how I didn't interrupt the broodlings. (They can't be interrupted, and he pulled the whole group anyways) and that my spouses and my DPS was trash because our guildie was doing the most damage.
I added that if he went a tad slower, then we wouldn't even be doing a corpse run in the first place. He told me to shut up and to BRez him, no matter what. To make matters worse, the trash that the tank imprisoned attacked the DPS on the way to the second boss, killing everyone again. Tank called me a noob and told me to learn how to play my class for assisting the DPS in taking out the trash and told me that if I say another word, that he's going to leave.
My guildie accepted that his keystone was gone at this point. The tank pulls Nal'tira and starts trash talking the whole group saying that he's carrying everyone else in the group. The tank dies at around 50% health. He promptly leaves the group afterwards.
Afterwards, he whispers our guildie saying that ilvl was to show how much time a person puts into their character. Whatever that means.
I was stunned. How the hell does this happen? How can a person just become so freaking vile and angry? Over a mythic that he didn't even supply the keystone with?
Oh and to the guildie: If you're reading this, I'm sorry that your keystone was eaten :(
