So I just started playing this game with my BF 3 days ago. Overall, I'm having a lot of fun. Until we went to our first dungeon last night.
Holy hell! People are rude. They rush you along, They get pissed if you don't know how to do everything perfectly.
I used to play FF11 and FF14, so I'm not completely new to MMOs, just this one, and my BF stopped playing at Burning Crusades, so neither of us really knows the contents. We decided to plank tank and heals and our DDs kept running ahead and then got pissed when they died. In what universe do DDs EVER run ahead of the tank?!
Meanwhile, I don't know if they noticed, but this game actually has a pretty neat story line that this dungeon happens to be part of and I'd really like to be able to enjoy it. that's why we told them at the beginning that this was our first run through.
If this is the experience I should always expect from dungeons, then I don't think I want to run them, regardless of story or whatever. It sucks the fun from the game.
EDIT: I love how even here, I'm getting responses ranging from "It's your fault for being new" to "Fuck them for being assholes". Very easy to tell what kind of player everyone is just by these responses.
