Hi everyone, to those folks in EU who have been affected by the recent connection and login issues - please make sure you're aware of the temporary work around for WoW as listed by Lurdlespor in our technical forums:
'To work around this issue, please try launching the Desktop App and choose Continue offline, launch World of Warcraft and then log in to the game as usual.
If this message doesn't automatically show, please disable your internet connection prior to starting the Desktop app, then reconnect after the application is launched.
You can also launch the game by navigating to your World of Warcraft folder, and then run the wow.exe application directly.
If necessary, you can also try to remove the desktop app, as per the instructions in this article.'
UPDATE - 6:30PM PST: The issue should now be resolved. Please PM me if you continue to have any difficulties accessing your games. Thank you!
Thanks for everyone's patience, we apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused.
In addition, we'll regularly be posting updates through our EU Twitter as we go along.
