Long story long:

Protection paladin main since TBC. Really enjoyed challenge mode dungeons in MOP, got super casual in WOD, and then quit entirely in Legion.

I feel like I’m finally to a place in my life where I can commit to WoW again. I would like to get competitive in the Mythic scene. Second to M , I’d like to find a decent raiding guild. (Nothing top100 like I used to be in, I have boomer brain now-a-days, and APMs are only getting higher).

I want to try something other than Protection paladin. What’s a been consistently good Tank class over the course of the patches? Race? I prefer Alliance, but am willing to go Horde if there is a racial ability that blow others out of the water.
