I have an abscess that opened on its own about an inch from my anus. It looks like an abscess opening in a sensitive area(didn’t see a need to share the photo), but now it obviously needs to drain, but is also an open wound an inch from my anus.

What is the best way to keep it from getting infected (again?) and absorb the fluid as it drains?

Right now I have a baby wipe shoved between my cheeks (it’s what I had available) obviously I can’t get medical tape to stick, so a traditional dressing won’t work.

I don’t want to drive an hour to my doctor about this, if I don’t have to.
