Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Post Body
My dad has a chronic tunneling wound with a chronic bone infection on his buttocks that his provider says will not ever heal. While I recognize that this is likely, I also asked her if he would be a candidate for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and she said no, that the wound wonβt heal. I guess I was just wondering if it could help it at all? Is it worth at least trying? Has anyone had experience with this type of therapy? Should we get a second opinion? Thanks everyone in advance.
