As expected from JP, no more shards on the 9-step. Instead it has been replaced by Stars depending on the rarity of the summons you get. YOU DON'T GET STARS FROM THE FREE STEPS.

• 20 stars for UR
• 5 stars for MR
• 1 star for SR and R

We now also get 100 summon medals for each step, which equates to 900 summon medals.

Previous 9-step Summon gives us 200 of a specific unit's shards for the same amount of visiores (14k).

On the new 9-step, on average from 7 guaranteed slots, 63 normal summons, we should get (rounded down for pessimism):

• Guaranteed slots
  • 0.28 UR unit = 5 soul star
  • 3.36 MR unit = 16 soul star
  • 3.36 MR VC = 16 vision star
• 2.5 UR unit = 50 soul stars
• 5 MR unit = 25 soul stars
• 5 MR VC = 25 vision stars
• 25.2 SR/R unit = 25 soul stars
• 25.2 SR/R VC = 25 vision stars
• 900 summon medals = 90 featured unit/VC shards

Total of

• 121 soul stars
• 66 vision stars
• 900 medals or 90 shards

Mog shop requires 2000 summon medals to pity the unit, so if you don't get them in the 9-step, you're at least halfway there.
