I've played l4d l4d2 and just recently finished days gone. This game was on sale so I decided to buy it, of course initially I was looking forward to playing it since I loved l4d and fighting hordes on days gone made me crave more of the same action. well to my disappointment the game is no l4d and most definitely doesn't hold a candle to days gone or in other zombie game I've played.
gun play is just ok, I've been spoiled with days gone shootings mechanics I was expecting nothing less from a game that requires you to gun down hundreds of zombies, but I was sitting there shooting like thats it? other than that nothing serious.
The AI O MY GOD, ARE FREAKING USELESS!!!! if I'm not babysitting them they die when a horde comes through. they don't heal themselves, they don't heal you, they don't get different guns to help out in the situation, they don't set up defenses, THEY DON'T DO JACK SHIT!!!!! but just act as your own personal mobile gun turrets.
The progression through episodes is SLOW, that's all I have to say, but it's not a big deal considering what type of game it is. they could at least speed it up though.
Movement controls are meh, when I was surrounded I was pressing buttons to see which one was the roll button lol to my dismay there wasn't one, well aint that bout a bitch.
are there any good things about this game? yeah but not enough to get it out of the negative for me, but surprise because of sony's bum ass refund policy I'm stuck with itπ€·πΎββοΈπ€·πΎββοΈπ€·πΎββοΈπ€·πΎββοΈ so I'll keep playing I geuss and see if my opinion of it changes, in the mean time fir anyone on the fence about buying this game, I'd say save your money and wait for dying light 2, buy dying light, or days gone.
alright bring on the downvotes.
