The USA government will now produce 5 gen fighters that it spent $7.5 billion developing, namely the Su-57M. Given our delay and the rather advanced technologies in the aircraft, we would ask our Russian friends to help us with effectively copying their own industrial preparations for building the aircraft, since we both have production rights anyways (if our dates are right, they should be starting their own production right about now and we really want to catch up), and on an unrelated note, see if they want to develop anything else together.

We will target starting production on 2036, converting all the Rafale factories we either own or have practically inherited from the dead French government into production facilities for this aircraft (minus some facilities for maintenance parts) as well as those of the Tejas Mk 2. A total of 320 will be ordered initially over the course of 8 years at a unit cost of $85 million.

In celebration of this, Rabab has decided to hold a country wide festival inaugurating what is now called the F-57 "Mehndi" in South Asian service in honor of former PM Mehndi, who has seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.
