Prime Minister Modi proclaimed dead after terrorist attack

After hours of operation, Indian Prime Minister and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Narendra Modi, has been proclaimed dead at AIIMS Hospital after extreme blood loss. While traveling to a press conference, his van was struck by radical "Islamic feminist" Kashmiri independence group Dukhtaran-e-Millat. Many members of the Indian government blame Pakistan for funding this attack.

Other BJP party members in the van maintained minor injuries, while the driver was flung out of the van window and died moments after the crash. The Union Council of Ministers are currently deciding a new Prime Minister for the BJP, and therefore a new Prime Minister for India.

Rajnath Singh chosen as new Prime Minister of BJP and India

The Union Council of Ministers have chosen Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh as Prime Minister of the BJP and India after the untimely death of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A slight Hindi nationalist like his successor, it is thought that Singh will continue to lead India down the path that Modi had set for India. Party members say it is "the choice that Modi would have wanted.
