As the new administration of the United States of Columbia, President Logan Jackson would like to extend his hand to the Southern States of America.
We would like to start by apologizing for the inaction and incompetence of the Rosemont administration. While they had the best of intentions trying to keep the SSA together, they refused to go far enough to actually help. This a mistake we will not make.
Given the reduced status of the SSA, we would like to know what the government intends to do next. As we imagine the economic burden of losing half of the country after the economic downturn of the war is incredible, we would like to offer economically intertwining our two countries. While free trade already exists, we think that standardizing federal business taxes and regulations would make it easier for Columbian companies to expand into the SSA and vice-versa, promoting some much needed economic growth.
We would welcome recommendations on further steps we can take to help you out. Despite recent events, we continue to stand by the SSA and offer ourselves as an ally.
