Thanks to continued Dail unity and political stability, President Dempsey has now begun for his "Dempsey Plan" announced two years ago during the Taoiseach Election, the President is hoping now to create several new Government agencies as well as the legalization and taxation of recreational cannabis use.

The agencies created will be:

1. The Department of Business Development - Sub-department under the Department of Reform, will function to promote local level businesses and start-ups with the plan to further Irish economic interests and develop Irish business at home and overseas. Will be allotted funding in accordance with the Minister for Reform.

2. The Department for Development and Progress - A new department entirely, will work in tandem with government, private, and overseas research initiatives to forward Irish technological and medical capabilities to as to bring the Irish Republic in competition with other large world powers. Department Chair will be selected by the Dail.

3. The Department for Protective Development - A joint sub-department of the Departments of Defence and Development and Progress. Department will work to adapt potentially useful technologies for incorporation into the IDF.
