As a new Prince has ascended to the throne, it is clear that the people of Monaco need to be able to demonstrate their political will at the ballot box. Therefore, I am dissolving the National Council of Monaco in order to hold elections. The council is made up of 20 seats, and a neutral speaker. The leader of the largest party becomes the President of the Council.

There are two parties vying for seats.

• Horizon Monaco - a right-wing, economically conservative party. The incumbent, whose leader Christophe Steiner is not standing for re-election.
  
• Union Monégasque - a centrist party. Currently a minor party, their leader Jean-François Robillon is seeking to break through.
  

[M] The election results shall be decided by the roll. Anywhere between 1-10 inclusive will represent a win for Horizon Monaco - the lower the number the bigger the majority - and anywhere between 11-20 will represent a win for Union Monégasque with the same caveat.
