Leader Nikolaos Michaloliakos of the Golden Dawn has announced the creation of the Greek Patriot Corps in his weekly newsletter. This arm of the Golden Dawn will have the purpose of protecting Golden Dawn officials and offices from attacks by opposition groups, protecting Golden Dawn protests, and organizing protests and other Golden Dawn events. It will be led by Golden Dawn member Admes Tatas who will train the members. All members are expected to be in ownership of one legal firearm. The GPC is a volunteer job and there is no pay.
