2016 has been a big year for the USAN, now ULAN. Many new members have joined and we would like to congratulate them. Haiti, Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, and Guatemala; congratulation on joining the union.

Proposals

1. Merge The Andean Community and Mercosur to form the Economic Union of South. America (vote pertains only to South American nations involved in one or both organizations)

2. Creating a Zika task force to eliminate mosquitoes and find a vaccine

3. CSSA's official approval from the ULAN, if passed the CSSA will be given joint command to Latin American Council of Citizen Security, Justice and Coordination of Action against Transnational Organized Crime and the Council of Latin American Defense

4. Reinstate the stalled energy ring project

2. Mexico: Wanting exception from M-ULAN and what will happen if two M-ULAN nations go to war

3. Creation of protocol if a nation were to fall to rebel groups
