Breaking News from Channel DR1
Anti-EU protests have been abundant in Europe this month. Although Denmark has not been experiencing as many protesters as states such as Germany, Denmark has been experiencing their fair share of protesters. So far, approximately 20,000 men and women across Denmark have risen up to protest against the EU, calling the Union "enslavers" and "diplomatic rulers". These protests have been in mostly Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense. Today on April 15th, 2017, King Frederik was having a meeting with Frank Jensen, the lord mayor of Copenhagen, at the local "Ragnar's Kaffe" café. While Frank Jensen was in the bathroom, a 25-year old Anti-EU protester from Copenhagen named Gustav Høgh walked into the café, where he detonated a bomb. There have been 5 confirmed casualties in the café (Including Gustav Høgh) and 7 confirmed injuries. Frank Jensen has been confirmed unharmed. However, King Frederik's status is still unknown. This has been noted by the Danish government as an act of terrorism and all large Anti-EU rallies and protests are being shut down across the country for the moment being.
Stay tuned for coverage on Frederik's status.
EDIT ([m] after dice roll): The reports are in. After the attack at Ragnar's Kaffe in Copenhagen a few days ago, King Frederik's status has been confirmed. He has suffered very minor injuries from the explosion, nothing too bad. He should be out of the hospital by the end of the month.
