After the death of our beloved Queen Margrethe II of Denmark last month, King Frederik of Denmark has been coronated into the throne, followed by a royal coronation in Copenhagen. However, Lars Løkke Rasmussen of the Venstre Party is his prime minister and the next elections will not take place until June 17th, 2019. The Danish government is also in control of the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
