After a period of instability, both politically and with human conflict continuing to take place across the globe, the interim Swedish Head of Government answered a call to meet from the Government of Norway-Iceland; a series of these such meetings have since taken place and a consensus was reached that it was both agreeable, and ultimately sustainable, for each of these countries to form a 'Union,' of which would consist of two federalist Parliaments with almost total autonomy, with Foreign Policy and Defence matters, alongside a full Senate Veto, being the only withheld powers. Freedom of economic movement was among the policies discussed and will come into effect immediately, ahead of a merger taking place within the next month, when the first budget shall be announced by a joint council of ministers and to be voted on universally be each federal body.

Denmark are to be granted a referendum on their independence as the unionist proposals are limited simply to Sweden. This amalgamation shall be named as the 'United Scandinavian States,' and wishes to enter into a full, unreserved alliance with Poland-Lithuania, an Independent Denmark and Finland.
