El Comando Espacial Real, or the Royal Space Command, has been founded by Her Majesty today. With funds coming from the military, it is the goal of the agency to establish a notable Spanish presence in Orbit and beyond.

Such an agency can and will work closely with other agencies around the world, but its existence will be kept secret for now (except to Ireland and the SAET).

They will be based from the new launch center in Fuerteventura, which has just been completed. The best and brightest minds in Spain will be brought to this facility to ensure a successful start. The agency will not be starting from scratch, as it has knowledge from previous endeavors undertaken by the now defunct European Space Agency.

The first mission of the CER will be the construction of a space shuttle titled the Ambición class spacecraft, which is expected to be in prototype stage within two years.
