A new police force is being formed that will answer directly to higher-ups in the federal government. Named the Eastern Federal Police, they are tasked with finding and eliminating people who have been deemed 'threats to internal stability'. This is a term that can range from declared terrorists to government dissenters who are getting too much attention.
While this could be considered analogous to a police state, the EFP (or Feds) are doing this only for the safety of the ESA and its citizens.
They will operate in all cities with a population of over a thousand, and will have jurisdiction nationwide and across the American League due to the extradition clause.
