With plague ravaging much of the old world, and the new world proving all too vincible to its wrath, the Imperial State has Cascadia is taking action to protect her people.

The following steps are being taken:

Any persons or items entering the state (this includes inter and intranational travel) will be screened by the military medical personnel for any health risks.

• Any persons or items found to be compromised by disease will be turned back

• Border crossings, airports, and seaports are to be outfit with the appropriate medical equipment to support

The Cascadian Imperial Naval Service is to begin patrolling the coast, and searching any unapproved ships bound for the coast.

• If the ship is found to be compromised or illegal, it shall be turned back. Force may be used to accomplish this

The Cascadian Imperial Armed Forces will begin regular patrols of the land borders. Camps will be established every ten kilometers in a fashion similar to the Solarian system.

• Each camp will have medical and living supplies, and be manned by ~10 soldiers and 5 doctors.

• Anyone found to be illegally crossing the border will be asked to turn back twice before the use of force is authorized

All Cascadian citizens abroad are desperately urged to return home.

• Any citizens found to be infected will be safely transported to special medical facilities for treatment

Special medical facilities for the purpose of treating infected Cascadian citizens will be established in Bend.

• Said facilities are to be quarantined to the strictest standards possible

• Citizens will be cared for and treated until death of full health

Research will begin in conjunction with Brazil on countering these diseases.

All travel to and from the Indian states of the Empire is to be halted indefinitely.

*No citizens of these states will be allowed to travel to Cascadia unless under special circumstances reviewed by the military

Travel to and from the Heartland and other Pacific states is to be reduced

• Imperial citizens will be subject to the same conditions of entry as everyone else, as specified in the first clause

International trade to and from countries outside the Americas and Empire is to be discouraged.

• The Imperial Heartland and Pacific territories are exempt from this clause

An awareness campaign is to begin nationwide, which aims to educate the populace about the diseases and how to prevent them.

The hiding of any sickness is to be highly discouraged, and all citizens feeling even slightly sick are to report to the nearest clinic for a checkup.

The Canadian border is to be closed in its entirety to all traffic not originated in Canadian Cascadia (British Columbia)

• Said traffic will be subject to clause one, like everyone else

Vaccinations statewide are mandatory.

Anyone who may potentially be working with the infected (border guards, medical staff, etc.) is to be clad in the appropriate protective clothing.

These statures are subject to change as the situation evolves.
