What weird ways have the superheroes in your World impacted it? ( example in post)

In my world Chicago is no longer the Windy City it's the stormy City. Years ago an expy of the weather wizard was defeated the hero decided to crack his wand in half which has lead 2 a daily shift of weather from scorching hot days to snow storms that could last a week, scientists still haven't figured out the long lasting impacts of it or how to stop it. Do you guys have any cool examples of such things in your world?
