The last post in this vein I made, Meta-Multiversal Pen Pals, was a load of fun. Seeing as it's been a few months since then I figured I'd give it another go--this time with a slightly different spin.

Initial Comment

The cataclysm has come. Your world is experiencing an event which threatens to utterly destroy everything you hold dear. You might be a character of some significance in your world, or merely a lucky average citizen, but either way you have been given the opportunity to make a plea for your salvation to the meta-multiverse. Describe your desperate situation to the best of your ability (it is, after all, quite possible that those from other worlds are unable to fully comprehend your plight without sufficient detail), but at the same time you must keep your message short as you do not have much time. There is a chance that someone, somewhere out there would be willing to lend you a hand.

Comment Responses

You are the most powerful organization, entity, individual, nation, etc. willing and capable of lending assistance to those in need. You have recieved a communique from the meta-multiverse asking for aid from a strange world undergoing a cataclysmic event as well as a means of transport to and from that world. How would you go about saving them from their disaster scenario?

Rules

1. Make an Initial Comment no longer than 3 paragraphs of reasonable size (5-6 sentences) detailing the cataclysm and any relevant details about your world (keep it brief)

2. Respond to at least two other scenarios (or as many as you can) as that powerful organization/entity capable of lending assistance (in this version your world is not undergoing the cataclysmic event). You may ask for clarification if necessary.

3. Respond to requests for clarification from those willing to lend your world assistance and give them a reasonable assessment as to how you think their efforts will fare.

4. I will respond to every scenario put forward by people who follown the preceding rules for the next week.
