(Northeast of Alamar) Dedrasil: In life Anndrasil was the world tree that held the balance for all the arcane magics in the world and maintained the barrier that kept the magics of chaos out of the world. when someone or something cast a dark ritual that would result in the shattering of the barrier and the magics of chaos flooding throughout the world. the resulting event that has become known as the Immaterial Cascade killed the world tree. after the death of the world tree and the cataclysm that was the Immaterial Cascade Anndrasil was renamed Dedrasil. known to only a few remaining people, its existence has become lost and with it, the balance it once held on the Arcane.

a little updated lore and hint at the story idea i have. in short, the tree held balance of all the arcane magics (basically the traditional "good" magics) but the dark ritual that caused the Cascade in turn killed the world tree. but the magics of Chaos (Necromancy, black magic/witchcraft, voodoo, Dark Shamanism, Spectral, and Alchemical magics) are naturally violent and in turn don't have any balance and that posses a threat to the People and main character as well (Who is a Dullahan, Half Physical rotting undead corpse and half spectral being) and without the balance the turmoil of magics is reflected through the curse that the main character is suffering from. so he sets out to find a way to bring balance to himself and in turn must bring balance to the magics of Chaos which (by Proxy) brings balance to himself. but that raises some questions the main character will be forced to answer. like Can you resurrect a world tree into undeath? is anyone possibly powerful enough to even attempt such a feat? is it possible to do so without causing another Cataclysm? will anyone try and stop him from doing so?
